Terms of service

These terms govern access to the Download to Markdown website and document conversion service.

Operator and contact

The service is operated by th3nolo. Contact th3nolo@th3nolo.com with service or legal questions.

Your documents

You keep ownership of the documents you upload and the resulting Markdown. You grant the service only the permission needed to receive, process, store, and return that material. You must have the right to upload it.

Accounts

You are responsible for access to your verified email account and for activity under your session. Do not attempt to bypass account, size, usage, payment, or security controls.

Acceptable use

Do not use the service to process unlawful material, infringe rights, distribute malware, probe other users' data, overload the service, or automate access in a way that harms availability.

Payments

Gumroad handles checkout and payment processing. Paid access is attached to the verified email and product recorded for the purchase. Prices, renewal terms, cancellation options, and applicable taxes are shown during checkout. Gumroad's buyer terms also apply to the payment transaction.

Conversion accuracy

Document conversion is not guaranteed to preserve every word, table, equation, reading order, or layout. OCR can make errors. Review the result against the source before using it for legal, financial, medical, safety, or other consequential work.

Availability and changes

The service may change, pause, reject a file, or limit an account to protect users, infrastructure, or legal compliance. Material changes to these terms will be posted on this page with a new effective date.

Warranty and liability

The service is provided as available without a promise that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent allowed by applicable law, th3nolo is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from conversion errors, unavailable files, or use of generated output. Rights that cannot legally be limited remain unaffected.
